Pubblicazione legale: The contribution traces the tortuous path of the recent reforms of the penitentiary system, starting from the forecasts of the Orlando reform, passing through the decrees 123 and 124 of 2018, up to the analysis of the proposed changes to the penitentiary system contained in the Cartabia reform, examining the work of the Giostra, Lattanzi and Ruotolo Commissions on penitentiary matters, highlighting their criticalities and limits.
